Chemigrams

“This series of photographs focuses on the human eye and mental illness. To some extent the human eye allows us to peer into and better understand these illnesses at an earlier stage. I use the Chemigram process to highlight the chemical imbalance and emotions of these illnesses. The process creates a complex web of chemical reactions and imagery that tell a visual story that has many variations. The unpredictable nature of the process is similar to the unpredictable reactions to prescription medications that many experience every day."
